Treva Jean Blankenship, age 76, passed away on August 5, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 13, 1940 in Hendrix, Oklahoma to Ernest and Mary Lee Blankenship. Treva was raised in Hendrix, Oklahoma and graduated from Kemp High School in 1960.



She married Tommy Traylor in 1968. She was a bookkeeper at Minyard’s Food Stores where she worked for 24 years.



In her spare time Treva enjoyed making ceramics. She loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks and the Texas Rangers.



Her family and friends will always remember her as a very generous and loving person.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Blankenship, her brother, Dewayne “Moe” Blankenship and his wife Paulette. Treva is survived by her husband, Tommy Traylor of Dallas, Texas, brother, Jerry Blankenship and wife Sandy of Frisco, Texas, sister, Patsy Schindler and husband, James of Denison, Texas. She is also survived by her nephew, Michael Schindler of Denison, Texas, niece, Margie Fitzgerald of Frisco, Texas and niece, Teri Creel of Madisonville, Texas.
