Randall W. "Randy" Dugger, 49 of Dallas and formerly of Rock Falls died Tuesday May 29, 2018 at his home.
He was born on May 31, 1968 in Dixon, IL the son of William and Hazel Beatrice (Shortt) Dugger. He attended Rock Falls schools. He married Ann Marie Ortiz on February 14, 1997. Randy had worked at the former Northwestern Steel and Wire Co when he lived in Rock Falls. After moving to Texas, he worked as a transfer driver for U-haul. Randy was known for his love of cooking and all things spicy. He was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He was a simple man who knew no stranger. His love for his family and friends was immeasurable.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; three sons: Joshua of Frisco, TX, Justin (Destiny Zarecor) of Rock Falls, and Jacob of Lake Tahoe, CA; his daughter Jordan and her fiancé John Bryan of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren: Ayden, Devyn, Jack, Landyn, Graham, Ethan, Ava; his sister Linda Dugger Freas; his brothers: Michael (Wendy) Dugger and Thomas (Candy) Dugger; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Daryl Dugger and a nephew Daryl Dugger Jr.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Sunday June 10, 2018 from 1-4 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. The memorial service will follow on Monday at 10 AM at the funeral home with the Reverend Scott Porter officiating.
