Nathaniel Walton was born in Corsicana, Texas on July 27, 1948. He was born to the parentage of Jimmie C. Garrett and Douglas Grayson. His mother united in marriage to A.J. Walton, Sr. at which time Nathaniel was adopted by A.J. Walton, Sr.



He departed this life on September 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by Douglas Grayson and A.J. Walton, Sr.



Nathaniel accepted Christ at an early age.



Nathaniel attended Dallas ISD from elementary to high school. He furthered his education and obtained his CDL in Indiana at a trucking school. Nathaniel was an entrepreneur, independent truck driver, and business owner. His ambition resulted in his own business, Walton Delivery Service. His motto was “Nate is never late”. This was his occupation until his health failed.



Nathaniel is survived by his devoted wife Mary, one daughter Tammi McKeel (Darrell) and one precious granddaughter Kyndall of Mansfield.



He also leaves to cherish his memories six sisters, Christine Richardson, Naomi Garrett, Linda Boles (John), Violet Jackson (R.C.), Glendora Pointer, and Vicki Walton; two brothers, Amos Walton, Jr., Jimmie D. Walton and host of other relatives and friends.
