Louis Ray Chriss "Big Lou" born August 1, 1931 in Dallas, TX passed away peaceful at home with his family on September 24, 2017.
Big Lou attended Crozier Tech High school. He married the love of his life Wanda Larue Foster on September 16, 1950. He then went on to work for DP&L Company for 37 years. Big Lou served in the United States Army from 1952-1954 fighting the Korean War. He is a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #1176, a member of the FOE #3108, a peace officer, and other special clubs such as Willie's. He is the most loyal member Lone Star Park has ever known. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Lewis and Bonnie, brother Kenny Chriss, great great grandson Chandler Lee Kelley, and granddaughter Shannon Denise Kelley.
He is survived by his wife Wanda, daughter's, Sharon Parker, Lana Schulze and husband Martin, granddaughter Macey Taylor and husband Evan, great granddaughter Emersyn Lynn Taylor, great granddaughter Kaylee Lynn Flores & great great granddaughter Leah Aubrey Flores, and great grandson Cooper Lee Kelley. He is also survived by a sister, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
