Christopher K. Dohner, 66, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on November 24, 2020, of respiratory failure, complicated by Covid-19.
He was born in 1954 in Valley Stream, N.Y. He was predeceased by his parents Harlin and Donata (Telesca) Dohner, and step-mother Beverly (Blam) Dohner. Chris graduated from Valley Stream Central High School in 1972.
A union electrician for 40 years, he was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 20, Dallas Ft. Worth and as a traveler in New York City, with Local 3. On Labor Day you would find him marching down 5th Avenue with his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children Brian and Carley (Matt) Ducharme, grandchildren Mattis and Adeline Ducharme, siblings Virginia (Jeff) Dohner Cooper, Neil (Jane) Blam, Jill Drllevich, Bonnie (James) Rodrigues and Marc (Juliann) Blam, nephew Benjamin (Jaclyn) Cooper, and a loving and loyal multitude of cousins and friends.
Everyone who knew Chris knew of his lifelong love of the Beach Boys, even naming his children after the Wilson brothers, so in his memory please sing Chris one of your favorite Beach Boy songs.
