I have known AB for many years. His sister-in-law was my dear friend and so I got to visit with him quite often. He was one of my all time favorite people. I loved the way he laughed and made others laugh. He could talk about anything to anyone.
AB will be missed by many people including me. RIP, my friend until we meet again.

Mr. Thomas always lit up my day. His welcoming style really impressed me. I remember how he'd sing I've Got You Under My Skin, just because. He even allowed me to babysit Lem! I'm certain that his influence flavored my teaching. Thank you, Thomas family. I'll miss you, Mr. Thomas!

AB was my favorite teacher in Mt Pleasant. I moved there in the middle of my senior year from the Dallas area. It was an extremely difficult time for me and he made me feel welcome and loved every single day. We would talk about places to eat around SMU and other "city" places. Absolutely adored him and he made a HUGE impression on me. RIP AB. You were loved by many!

A. B. was a true friend of my brother from growing up in Mt. Pleasant, TX. A fun guy to know. Always there when you needed a laugh or an ear to listen. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The world was a better place that
A. B. Thomas lived.
My thoughts and prayers for his familyl.
